*PLEASE NOTE – the entry process for the Best Special Event Award has changed. In 2009, the Helpmann Awards® Administration Committee (HAAC) ruled that all Best Special Event award entries must be submitted and approved for eligibility by application. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility by HAAC and entrants will receive written confirmation of acceptance by Friday 13 August. To be considered for nomination for Best Special Event Award, all entrants must complete the Application Form (in the Related Documents section of this page) and send it to Live Performance Australia with all necessary supporting documents.
The JC Williamson Award, in recognition of outstanding contribution to the Australian live performance industry, is also bestowed each year.
The Brian Stacey Award (for emerging Australian conductors) is given annually via the entry process through the Stacey Trust. www.staceytrust.com.au
